Amerinet Welcomes New Western Area VP of Sales
St. Louis (July 13, 2009) – Amerinet Inc., a leading national healthcare group purchasing organization, today announced Porter Bertelson has joined the Amerinet team as western area vice president of sales. In his new position, Bertelson will report directly to RJ McNaughton, executive vice president of sales, and will oversee sales and customer relationship management in the Northwest, Southwest and Gulf Central regions.
“Porter Bertelson brings a wealth of experience in delivering results at all levels of organizations,” said McNaughton. “He has superior knowledge and information regarding the healthcare industry, having worked as a supplier, distributor and consultant.”
Bertelson began as a sales representative for Baxter and Allegiance, quickly advancing his career through higher levels of responsibility in various sales and marketing positions. He most recently owned an information technology consulting company and was senior vice president of marketing for Cardinal Health. Bertelson has had successful leadership roles as a region director of sales, vice president of sales and regional vice president/general manager at Cardinal Health.
Bertelson earned a master’s degree in business administration in Marketing/Accounting from the University of Colorado and a bachelor of arts degree from Northwestern University.
