Robert W. Mulcahey serves as vice president, chief operating officer at Stratum Med, Inc. (Stratum). Stratum is a privately-held healthcare services company owned by 19 physician groups and health systems, providing services to more than 5,000 physicians and their employees practicing in 45 physician groups/health systems throughout the United States. Stratum services include insurance and risk management services, physician and executive recruiting, medical supply and equipment purchasing, and consulting support related to technology applications, business office and compliance.

Mulcahey also serves as president of Stratum’s wholly-owned insurance company, Stratum Insurance Company, and as a director of Stratum Brokerage Company, LLC, a wholly-owned insurance brokerage firm.

Mulcahey is vice chairman of the board of directors of Amerinet and is also a member of the Administrative Resources, Inc. board of directors. He has more than 25 years of experience as an executive and general counsel in the healthcare industry. He is a graduate of the University of Illinois and Chicago-Kent College of Law.​
