Amerinet Corporate History
Organizational StructureEstablished in June 1986, Amerinet has set the standard for integrity and customer service for more than two decades. Headquartered in St. Louis, Amerinet is 100 percent privately owned by two investor-owner organizations: Administrative Resources Inc., based in Warrendale, Pa., and Intermountain Healthcare of Salt Lake City.
Administrative ResourcesAdministrative Resources (ARI) was established in 1982 as a Subchapter T Cooperative. In 1999, ARI was reorganized, and Hospital Shared Services, which was established in 1956 by the Hospital Council of Western Pennsylvania to serve acute care facilities, merged into ARI to simplify operations and strengthen its ability to provide streamlined and efficient services. In 2007, after an overwhelming affirmative vote from its members, ARI converted to a C Corporation to better meet customers’ needs and to gain more flexibility to expand the business. To date, there are over 200 shareholders.
