Chris Coons is vice president of Intermountain Healthcare Outreach Services and chief executive officer of Intermountain Homecare Services. 

Coons is a member of the Amerinet board of directors and serves on the Utah Hospitals and Health Systems Association board, of which he is a past board chair. Coons was honored as Intermountain Healthcare Administrator of the Year in 1997. He has served as a regent for the American College of Healthcare Executives in Utah and a fellow in the Utah Valley Leadership Academy. He is also a Regional Policy Board member of the American Hospital Association (AHA) Region 7 and serves on various AHA task force groups.

Coons received a Ph.D. in business administration from California Coast University; and a Master of Public Administration and a Bachelor of Science from Brigham Young University. He is a fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives.​
